My Christmas present (Mainland gloss mahogany tenor) came yesterday. Sweet dumplin' let me open it up to make sure it was what I ordered. Opened it up and thought that Mike had sent me the wrong thing, a soprano. It was so small. I got my concert and compared them and the new one was just a bit larger. I was not aware that the tenors were so small. I thought they were a lot larger. I've never seen one before. Anyway it is fabulous, can't wait for Christmas morn.

When I received my first uke i thought it was tiny too.

Now I know that guitars are just way to big...

no doubt, compared to a guitar...ukes are teeny weeny

just because its said that most guitarists choose tenor, doesnt mean its because its close in size:biglaugh::music:

Guitars are just ukes with serious thyroid problems... You should see my 6 string classical uke. Really overweight. And my giant 5 string banjolele. Serious overgrowth on that one.

I hadn't touched my guitar in months, and I thought, "Uh, oh... Don't wanna lose my chops!" So I pulled it out and, man, it felt like a baseball bat. It was like:
"What the f**k is this thing?" And it's telling me;
"I'm your Stratocaster." And I'm saying;
"My Whatocaster?" And it says;
"Your Strato... Oh, fine. Go play your Ooh-koo-lay-lay... Traitor." And I say;
"Oh, why don't you just shut the f... Wait a sec. Why am I talking to a guitar?"

Batter up!
