It's a Chinese made piano - I just got outbid on ebay for my 2 nd one. When the one I won last week in the workshop I'll let you know. Can't wait to have a play but it will be for sale when I do the rebuild...

I've had an interesting mail from Stuart. He has a FAQ page which shows his 2 instruments, a second with some luthier's hands on it. I'll be doing the same so it won't be cheap or look cheap. At this stage, until I get the piano (it is being shipped and requires repair) I've no idea how much it will cost. tho I suspect given that Stuart has had over 2 million hits there will be a line forming as soon as this gets out. Besides he already claims to have been able to sell it several times over in one of his online interviews. Don't rush me - I have had 9 days off with the 'flu and more to go yet, there is a postal strike here in the UK and I am not clear what repairs need to be done to the piano or how I am going to assemble the 3 instruments - lets not forget that kazoo! Be interested and patient. Should be out in 3 weeks...

Strange you should come up with this Pete. Just yesterday I was thinking about something like this to an electric uke.

Your ukulectics are far too nice to add a bit of cheap electronics to Pete.

I've got a eleuke I was thinking I might have a go at hacking up.

I'm not ready to spend big bucks on this, but if a toy piano happens to come my way I now know what I'm going to do with it.

Ha! My sis had one of those mini pianos as a kid! Who knew? Unfortunately it fell under the hammer of a 5yr old brother who shall remain anonymous. lol
