This was actually part of my Yo-yo post, but I guess most people saw Yo-yo and bypassed the part about uke recommendations:

...I already have enough spare cash for a Kala dolphin bridge, but I don't think that's what I want. I'm thinking of one of the Kala flamed mahogany at MGM:

Or maybe a Thinline Traveler... any other suggestions in this price range would be appreciated. I'd consider a good used one too.

So, assuming I can sell enough eBay stuff I'd like to spend up to about $150 for a soprano. I'm fine with a laminate. Good looking wood is a definite plus, and that thin travel uke is intriguing.

I actually just bought a Soprano Flame Mohagony last week, and I gottta say.. it is very nice. It sounds great and looks amazing. Now all I have to do is improve my skills so maybe I can sound great! :) Also, when you get it form MGM, he improves the strings, polishes, etc., and mine came with a nice case. \

I didn't need to see that link... and here I thought my UAS was under control!!!!

Those are nice I was looking at them back when I first started playing, during the first production run but missed out getting one. Glad to see they are back and better than before.
