I had an Ashburt Tenor but the koa one. Pretty good uke for the price.

Ashbury is one of the brands imported by Gremlin, and sold through Hobgoblin and others. Most of their ukes are laminate, and I believe this is a laminate model, not solid wood (although I can't state with 100% certainty).

There are some good laminate ukes out there. Provided you're not looking for solid wood this one may be fine. I've played some Ashbury instruments that were pretty ok.
