? on selling guitar

I have a Gibson Hummingbird, sunburst, with hardshell case made in the mid-70's. It is in very good shape and I don't play it. I want to sell it and with the money purchase a custom ukulele. I also need to establish a fair price so the buyer and I am happy. I saw a new one at Best Buy the other day in the $2,500 range. I have zero experience selling musical instruments.

Suggestions on where to list it and a fair price will be appreciated. Mahalo

Harmony Central's Acoustic Guitar Forum is filled with some really great musicians and lots of guitar collectors. If you hope to get top dollar, you need good pictures and that is one place to ask about the value of a guitar.
