I was going to an open mic with my concert uke and my guitalele when I stopped and thought for a second about how much easier it would be if someone made a double-necked uke. Does that exist? I'd love to be the first in my town to rock one...

Alternatively, any experimental luthiers want to donate their time and energy to advance uke science? :p

moore bettah has made them in the past. They were only about half that much...

I've seen double-necks by several makers on eBay; Pono was one.

Mele also makes one that has 8 string ande 4 string. It is 1,200ish. I've played one while on Maui. It sounded great.

Here's Chuck Moore's double neck beauty . . . gotta love it!

How's a triple neck work for you? I don't know who made it, but this guy was playing with Sonny Lim a couple years ago at the Lanihau shopping center on the Big Island. Wish I got a better picture of it. I think it's a double coursed 6-string on top, a D-VI in the middle, and a 4-string on the bottom.
