Hi there, my name's Tom, ukulele beginner living in Douglas, Isle of Man.
Started on a black soprano LP-style Mahalo at the beginning of June this year, then picked up a Brüko No. 4 at the end of August. Been playing almost daily since, I've been addicted. I play some other instruments but this is my first time picking up something with strings.
Mainly here for the lessons, the beginner advice and immersing myself in a world of ukuleles and ukulele players.
See you round!

Welcome!
The Mahalo LP is very cute isnt it :D

They do benefit from sanding down the saddle a bit with sand paper though.

Come in, take a seat, make yourself at home Tom. Douglas IOM is one of my very favourite places. First the BeeGees, now you.

Enjoy the ride, but take it steady down Bray Hill.

Welcome Tom! I've always been fascinated by the Isle of Man. I spent some time checking it out on Google Earth not that long ago. And, I've always wanted to go there to see the Classic TT motorcycle race. Maybe someday!
