Nothing wrong with civil discussion. If anything comes across as disrespectful or confrontational it is not my intention.

My point is that 'ukulele is the correct spelling in Hawaiian, but has become a loanword in Spanish, a language in which ' does not exist, so ukulele would be an appropriate spelling to use in that language.

No disrespect intended, but they spelled it as ukelele not ukulele.

Just might be a play on lettering since most people just use uke

The Spanish term is "ukelele" and there's no possible discussion about its spelling.
