Today I played the American national anthem for my grandparents and all those who currently rest at Connecticut State Veterans' Cemetery. It is a very humbling place.

This is going to get me all teary (husband is leaving tomorrow for Afghanistan for a year) :(

You rock bnicholas! and I'm sure they all enjoyed it! Thanks to the men and women keeping our country safe I can go to any part of the city and play my uke (except for private zones which are allowed their rulez) and not have to worry about secret police harrassing me and asking for my "papers".
