Just seen one of these on line - beatiful - all solid - spruce top, koa back and sides.

Why can it not be cheaper??!

Anyone played one?

couple of ebay stores in the UK selling them - about £270

sorry for not linking myself.

They are nice eh?

The price on the Kal Joe Brown seems to have dropped a fair bit. Purpleturtle on ebay now have them at £219 + £10 postage. I think that's actually not a bad price for what looks like an excellent Ukulele.

Are you looking at the same uke? I understand there are two models. The one Paul is referring to, and another made from mahogany.

They are both very nice ukes.

I don't know if it's the same or not. It looks the same and is Solid Koa with a Spruce top. This is the link: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Kala-Joe-Brow...ruments_Sting_Instruments?hash=item5ad573c1ae

I imagine that ASKS stands for All Solid Koa Spruce. If it's not the same one it is still a lovely thing and at £219 quite affordable.

That is the one I was looking at
