I want to get myself a cheap soprano, I already have a decent Concert and Tenor. Concert is my favourite size but I think it would be nice to have a soprano better than the Mahalo which I started on.
I've been looking at a Stagg US-80S which I can get for £47, which is an all solid mahogany Uke with favourable reviews. There is also an electro version but that costs £79. Is it worth paying the extra £32 for the pickup or would I be better getting the acoustic and adding a pickup later if I felt that way inclined.
Or, any other suggestions within that price range? £100 tops although I am tempted to go for a Kala Spalted Maple/Spruce Soprano at £140 but can't really justify it.
