No problem but would like to know if there is a special screwdriver or set made for tightening the screws on ukulele tuning pegs.

I don't think so but there are some very cool compact multi-bit screwdrivers you can pick up at Lowe's, Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Menard's, etc....

I picked this one up cheap at Wal-Mart. It's about the size of an ink pen.

nope, nor for any stringed instrument really - just get the right size for the job -(ie dont pick a huge flat head builders screwie for them, and equally, dont pick a tiny jewellers driver)

Most I have seen now are crosshead (or phillips style in the UK) pick a driver with a shaft the same diameter as the head of the screw and you will be fine.

Thanks, Will and Paul.

The one you got at Wal-Mart looks perfect, Will. I'll check out Wal-Mart tomorrow.

Home Depot usually has a pair of pocket screwdrivers (one flat, one phillips) for about $3. I think they're sold under the "Husky" brand name.

It's great. That pic shows the bits, but they store in the handle in real life. A perfect gig bag accessory.
