I started playing about a three weeks ago on a Lanikai LU-21. I just scored a used Flea on eBay! :D I sure hope it arrives in time for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Congrats. You are going to be very pleased. Of all the ukuleles I have owned, the flea could be the favorite for it's durability, amazing unique tone, and cool design.

Was it that natural finish one that ended today? I'd've been bidding too if I wasn't at work today.
Great score and I'm glad it's going to a terrific home.

Awesome - you're gonna love it!

The only thing I love more than my Flea is my Fluke.

Then again, the only thing I love more than my Fluke is my Flea.

I'm fickle like that.

It would take one hell of a Uke to beat my Flea for over all uke-ness.

Combo of sound, playability destructobility and niftyness wins.

Sure others may look better, but toss em on the couch i dare ya

Except maybe for the custom commissioned uke that Mike built you or the custom commissioned CBU that Russ built you, you mean. RIGHT?

Okay - so the Flea arrived today. :)

Man those friction tuners take some getting used to! I'm ordering some Aquila Nylgut strings for it right away. I think it has Martin strings on it. Not sure, but the sound is pretty dull. I'll post some pictures in the next or so.
