I've purchased the small size kerfing from LMI (http://www.lmii.com/CartTwo/thirdproducts.asp?CategoryName=Inside+the+Box&NameProdHeader=Kerfing), and I think it will be fine, but I was wondering what size other people here use?

That'll work, it just looks a little "blocky" for my taste. It's pretty easy to make your own.

The "small" looks about what I use. The square corner doesn't bother me any. That sounds really expensive - make your own :)

I make my own..1/4" X 3/16" triangular for Sopranos...And I keep it in this Ex Army Mortar case to it save from damage.

Timbuck, didn't you post a nice video showing your wife making your kerfing for you? It looked like an easy little jig to use.

Yes it's quite a simple little semi atomatic device thats been around for a few years, But you need a bandsaw.. You just push it back and forth by hand.I was going to make it fully automatic with a windscreen wiper motor..a bit like this one..but I've not got round to it yet.

Here's Mrs Timbuck helping me out.

My wife's already not entirely happy with me spending as much time in my shop as I have been. I think I'll let LMI save my marriage... ;)

(save my workshop, anyway)
