By non-uke artist I mean someone who doesn't normally play uke.

Pete Townshend plays on Blue, Red, and Gray on The Who By Numbers

Paul McCartney played Uke on Ram On, off Ram, his second solo album.

On the new Panic at the disco Album entitled "Pretty. Odd." there is a song featuring the Ukulele accompanied by a couple of horns. It's pretty cool and has a real cool vintage feel to it. The name of the song is "I have friends in holy spaces"

Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam has been playing uku for a while, both at the Pearl Jam shows as well as his solo tour. http://youtube.com/watch?v=FoTo4xuQ6eQ

George Harrison, as we know, was an avid ukulele player ("Something" had to have been written on a uke). http://youtube.com/watch?v=G5CkIniOcqs&feature=related

Frank Black (Black Francis) from The Pixies plays ukulele on his latest solo release (so i'm told).

Bill Macy (actor) is a ukulele player, and even did a song on Oprah's show (played a Flea), tho i understand he's a Martin M3 player. http://youtube.com/watch?v=U_o7SmPfzo0

You can insult the crappy movie you were in if you do it with a uke. :D

Also, the guy who played Greg in Dharma and Greg is a uke player. On some other show he was in, his character played a Fluke, but he wasn't faking it.

You just never know who's going to say "I've got one!" when you ask about uke. :D

i just remembered....Andy Griffith would occasionally play a real sweet National Steel ukulele on his Matlock show.
