Hello!
I'm a 47-year-old guitar player and have been wondering how a uke would be just for the fun of it...It is fun!
I picked up a Lanikai LU22CGC (guitar center Lanikai) about two weeks ago. Learned 5/6 chords and I was off...my 11-year-old daughter picked it up and never set it down...and she can sing, so I gave it to her and ordered an Oscar Schmidt OU5 dirt cheap from Amazon.
Fun instrutments. I'm learning how to strum and fingerstyle (mostly how I play guitar) from this site... I'm sure a nice solid wood uke is not far away but these will do for now.
