Hello all! I am a new learner. I am 37 years old and love all kinds of music. The last few years I have really enjoyed listening to a wide range of ukulele music. I have never played anything (except percussion a long time ago) and do not know how to read music. I want to learn to play the uke so I can carry it with me and make my own music. I may try to find a local instructor, but in the meantime I will rely on my own determination and (hopefully) the collective knowledge of this community. Thanks for letting me be a part of this wonderful forum. Oh, and I have a Mahalo 320 and the Mel Bay beginner book.
