I'm putting together a youtube video to promote the Mozilla Digital Memory Bank-- a project of the Center for History and New Media where we're trying to archive the history of Mozilla and Firefox, from the perspective of both developers and users.

Basically, we're trying to get people to make videos of people talking about their experiences using Firefox or other Mozilla products. The idea is to record this stuff now for future historical purposes.

Anyway, I was thinking some music would be nice in the background-- it'd need to be an original song or something in the public domain, and nothing too distracting-- even just some pretty noodling around on a uke would do fine.

Thought I'd post here and see if any of you folks (a lot more talented than I) would like the opportunity to contribute some music for the vid. It doesn't have to be too long or anything.

Are you a Firefox Fan? Think about promoting the cause of open-source, secure browsing by contributing a bit of music!

We can't offer any money or anything, but credit would be given, of course. Unfortunately, we're on a bit of a tight schedule, so the sooner the better. MP3 would be the preferred format...

Thanks in advance!

Here's the chorus of my tune, "Brown Woman" over and over again, no vocals, about three minutes long:

Here's a snippet of a song called, "Push on Through". Only 30 seconds, no vocals:

Listen to that stuff and let me know if I'm on the right track. I could probably get some more stuff to you if you need it.

Hope it helps!
