Browsing through the forums, it looks like the last thing you folks need is another fellow from Portland. So here I am.
I've been playing for a couple years. My main audience has been my wife, and more recently, my 3 month old son. My ukuleles live on my couch and get abused by me nightly.
When I was younger, I tried to play the piano and violin, but practicing always seemed like practice, so I gave up. I've never done anything with the uke that wasn't fun. I feel fortunate to have discovered playing music as an adult.
This seems like a nice community. I look forward to getting to know you.
