Hi Guys,
This is my first post (i think) im a bit of a lurker. I just bought a vintage Sammo ukulele off the 'bay (original auction: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290372849920&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT) from America. It arrived today and i was rather dismayed to find that the back had come unglued. I had been assured this was not the end of the world. So currently the back is not fully glued on (and parts of the glue is cracked, it could do with re gluing) So im in a bit of a dilemma as to whether to fork out the cash and get a refund by sending the uke back (as i've got another one on the way) repair it and sell it (I have been told by the seller carpet glue works fine) or just sell it as is.
I paid £60 ($100) ideally i would like to recoup that if anyone is interested. I have not strung it so i don't really know what the sound is like.

Features:
- Solid Koa front, back and sides
- Maple fret board
- Friction Tuners (all original but one)

So if anyone has any advice on what they think i should do i would appreciate that. Also, i apologize if this is in the wrong forum but it seemed fitting as i am selling the uke/asking for advice about selling it!

Cheers,
Will

Oh and if anyone wants more pictures/info don't hesitate to ask.

Just strung it up, Sounds terrible. I couldn't sell it if i knew it was terrible so i will be returning it.
