Got a kamaka soprano recently, it had not been played in probably 40 years. It cleaned up nice, and I installed new strings (Martin). It sounds and plays great, with one exception. All intonation seems fine, except when I play an F chord, the second note on the G string sounds sharp, very sharp, so that it throws off the whole song. The fret looks seated OK. Tuning that one down does not help, as then the open string sounds flat. Any ideas?? I suppose it cound be nut, string or bridge issues. Being mostly a guitar and mando player, the plain slotted wood bridges seem to invite intonation problems, but what do I know, I'm totally new to ukes.

I had the exact same problem with mine when I tried Aquilas on it. I've since switched out to D'Addarios and it fixed the problem.
