For sale is a handmade solid Acacia Tenor ukulele.
Makapili Ukuleles are 100% handmade by me in my workshop in Italy.
This one is made of 100% environmentally concious wood.
Top, Back, sides, headplate veneer: Acacia Confusa (urban tree removal)
Neck: Spanish Cedar (FSC certified)
Fretboard: Indian rosewood (recycled from a bass fretboard)
17 frets total, 14 to the body
THIS UKULELE HAS A RADIUSED FRETBOARD
Tuners: Grover closed geared tuners
This ukulele has a side sound port.
This is an excellent sounding ukulele. It looks very nice and plays real easy too.
I made this ukulele as a personal instrument, but after my recent trip to America to visit family I am in need of money and must regretfully sell it. It has been played and has some very light strum marks on the soundboard.
A very nice hard case is included with this ukulele.
Here is a sound sample, excuse my shabby playing:

It was recorded directly into windows sound recorder with a 10 Euro microphone. Sorry it is not the best recording. Any buzzing is a consequence of my playing, not the ukulele. I still struggle with this song.
The price is 450 Euros (Price reduced to 375 Euros), and includes a hard case and shipping within Europe. I am always open to listening to offers.
I hope it finds a good home.
Take care,
Thomas
