I was watching a video of MGM play one of these (amplified) the other day, and it sounded pretty cool. I played one in person and was rather unimpressed with it acoustically. But it does have a good bass sound if you do run it through an amp and know how to play.

Sadly, my Fender P-Bass and J-Bass both go untouched already, so I won't be picking this one up, but I'm sure someone will love it.

And right angle cables FTW.

You're right. I guess not. I figured it had a hollow body so it could be played acoustically, but I see now, that it's just to get more of that upright bass sound rather than electric bass sound. Ah hah.
