Hi folks,
my name is Ryan Suzuka. I know seeso from the singer songwriter scene in Chicago. Perhaps some of you also know Jason Arimoto (facemeltingukulele on YouTube) Me and Jason went to school together at Iolani on Oahu. I was in his Blues Club and eventually took it over when he graduated although that was when I only played harmonica. Now I write and play songs on a six string tenor I bought off my friend 2 weeks before I left Oahu. I don't know much about the "company" that made it. There is a stamp inside that says "Broad Horizons" and handwritten next to it is "#40" and "12/19/96". So, it just had it's birthday! If anyone knows anything about the company let me know.
So anyway, me and Seeso recently played a show together and he was wearing an Ukulele Underground shirt and he was like, "Ryan, you're a dummy. Get on YouTube and get on Ukulele Underground" (quote may not be accurate). And I was like "wah wah wah, I have no money, and what's an Ukulele Underground?" And then I wrote the website down on my notepad, and then 2 weeks later I looked at my notepad and joined the community. Around the same time, through some good fortune, I was able to get a small video camera.
