I'm trying to record some stuff I used to have a mac and could use garage band. I was wondering if any of you know of a garage band like program for the PC. Preferably Free since i have no money.

Audacity is completely free and quite similar to garageband. It's not the same but won't take long to learn. It also has a great wiki page with tons of info.

Yup, Audacity for sure. I use it for my recordings.

Audacity. I agree! If all you are doing is recording sound, then that's all you need. Its very basic, but is easy to work with and can make a high quality project.

Audacity is great.

It can be a bit touchy about recognising some soundcard inputs - especially under XP - but usually it's brilliant.
