In a song in the key of A with the chords A, D7, E7, what are they in the key of F and the Key of G?

Ding ding ding! You learn quick, Melly! :D

Give The lady a Degree!

Key of F
A=F
D7=Bb7
E7=C7

Key of G
A=G
D7=C7
E7=D7

...I think...

And I had to get a degree in music to learn that! Yay for you!:cheers:

I made the two PDF files to use to help transpose songs. You print out both files. Cut out the inner circle and put a brad or rivet in the middle of both circles. The you use the inner circle as the original chords and the outer as the new key chords. For example if you wanted to transpose from F to A you would put the F Pie on the innter circle over the A pie on the outer circle. Then read all the original chords in the song from the inner circle and transpose them to the corresponding outer circle chord. It makes it a little easier and quicker to find the right singing key for any particular song. I print it on card stock.
