Write him back and say, "Exactly so. You should try making a living out of it." Another thing to do is point him to the $25 Grizzly kits. Those are more his speed, anyway. :)
 
I've just had a rejected enquiry for one of my tenor kits. Here is a direct quote: The cheek of it...

I guess he could just spend a King's ransom on tools, then he could do it himself. I agree with Matt on the Grizzly kits. Couldn't make any money on the StewMac ones.

You do all the work and someone else glues it together and puts their name on it. I have done quite a few ghostwriting jobs so I know how "unappreciated" it can feel.
