Hey guys, my name is Shockey! I'm a 17 year old guy from Central Florida, and I've been playing ukulele for a few months now. I switched over after playing guitar for a year or so, and found the uke to be much more simple and convenient. It's so small and light and portable that it's easy to carry around whenever I'm hangin' out.
I've fallen in loveee with it. I found this forum shortly after I started playing, but I never got around to actually posting or even lurking that much. But as my interest for the ukulele grows, I thought I'd start becoming active around here in order to learn as much as I could.
I'm really looking forward to being a part of the forum :]
