Forgive me, i now you must get this question alot but im new to the uke.

Besides size and sound, are there any differences between a concert and a tenor?

In a how to ukulele book i have it says that the tenor has a slightly different string configuration, what does that mean?

I guess what i want to know is if the chords on a concert uke are the same on a tenor?

if two ukes are tuned the same way, the chords will be the same for both, no matter what size it is.

Yeah, concerts and tenors are usually tuned the same way: g, C, E, A.
