can some one tell me about this uku?

I would probably steer you away from that one. Here's a video review by our own UkeNukem: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1e-eG0q7DRQ.

For that price point you would be better off getting a Mahalo, or spending a few dollars more and getting a Makala and upgrading the strings to get one that is a good player. Better yet...you can get one from MGM that is already set up properly to be a good player. http://cgi.ebay.com/MAKALA-sparkle-black-SOPRANO-UKULELE-aquilas-HEAR-VIDEO_W0QQitemZ330391139091QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item4cecd8b313#ht_1904wt_957

i only got it for 25 dollars on e-bay and it came with a tuner and a case, so what do think i can do at home to make it sound better?

There are a few things to make it sound better. First and foremost...buy some good strings. Strings make the biggest difference in sound on a uke, and is the cheapest upgrade. I would recommend some Aquilas. You can get them from MGM http://cgi.ebay.com/AQUILA-SOPRANO-Nylgut-ukulele-strings_W0QQitemZ330390458676QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item4cecce5134#ht_987wt_957 Next...check the intonation. When the uke is in tune...play each string at the 12th fret and check to make sure it is the same note only an octave higher. If you do not have an electronic tuner...use a program like AP tuner.

Also check the action at the nut. When you press a string down at the 3rd fret...there should be about 0.010" clearance at the 1st fret (from the top of the fret to the bottom of the string). You should be able to slide a business card in there...and have it stay. Next check the action at the saddle. Measure from the top of the 12th fret to the bottom of the string (without pressing any strings down). This should be about 1/8" or less. If you need to lower the action at either the nut or the saddle...there are many threads that will guide you through it here.

Here is UkeNukem after he tweaked his Rogue: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2i-F9xWp_4w&feature=channel

They can be made to sound pretty good...it just might take a little work.

I might suggest that you use flurocarbon strings, like Worth clear mediums, or Martin strings llike UkeNukem.
Flurocarbon strings will be softer on your fingers, if you are just starting to play.
Check out ebay or elderly.com or juststrings.com.

wow thx for all your input, so about the strings, money is not a problem.

so what are the best possible strings i can get?

There's really no "best" strings. Just your personal preferences. I agree with Doc_J about the Martin flurocarbons. Try those and then later try Aquila nylgut strings. They're louder strings, but also harder and are hard on soft fingertips. Let us know the results!

I'll agree with Doc_J and UKI on the Martin clear flurocarbons. I have them on my Mainland Honeybee soprano and think they sound really good. I picked them up at my local Guitar Center for $6.99 + tax. Pretty much, any of the "premium" ukulele strings will make an improvement in sound. Then its just a matter of finding the ones you like the best. Personally, I like the Worth clear mediums.
