the perfect introduction to instrumental ukulele

I'm on nights next week and plan on learning something semi technical to bide my time. Do you giys have a suggestion? I'm from the UK so a popular well known song would be preferred. oh and a pdf file for the tab would make me the happiest man in the world!

How about the Bach "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring", it's not too hard, but you'll be able to toss it off and impress people for the rest of your life. Everyone's heard it, it's a good melody. P.S., on uke it works great transposed to F.

Something else that impressed me, a guy adapts ragtime piano pieces to uke, ragtime lends itself to the uke I think. Another idea are Irish fiddle tunes, some of them work well for uke as instrumentals.
