somewhere over the rainbow haha :D Only because chords are very simple and guitar sounds good along with the uke, everybody wins.

I can pick Twinkle Twinkle Little Star like a champ! And not too bad at Ode To Joy by Beethoven either. Don't laugh, I'm still a beginner! LOL!

Lately we've been doing a lot of Kalapana (Kona Days, Nightbird, Naturally)...but we always end up playing I Hear Music, Gypsy Ukulele, and No Woman No Cry...along with all our half-finished original stuff and random improv instrumentals

hmmm.... the song i always find myself strumming/singing when my brain's on auto-pilot would be somewhere over the rainbow/what a wonderful world (the song that encouraged me to pick up the uke in the first place) but right now, i like to strum/sing grow old with you by adam sandler (it's a simple song that allows you to change the lyrics for different moods, situations or people) and yoshimi vs. the pink robots (just a fun song to sing).

bro u got tabs fo that song? just the start?? its a mean song! i can play it on guitar..

at the moment dragon, my index finger is all cut up trying to make my tapping sound louder so the strumming parts are fun. I have to ask, what does

10 2 7 mean?? but it has like a line going from 10 to 7 over the top of 2?? im thinking that means u have to hold down fret 2 and tap 10 then the 7?? im pretty sure - or i can watch jakes video!

none the less - u got redemption song?? peace

Wen we stay at the Grill, somebody usually strum the first 2 chords of Henehene Kou 'Aka or Wai Wai Nui jus fo break da ice. An den we go from dea . . . usually hawaiian (traditional & hula). Ka Uluwehi O Ke Kai, Ulupalakua . . stuff li'dat with some contemporary in between - Ekolu, Vaihi, Ho'onua, Kalapana. Just good fun fo us.

My friends and me like the Beirut stuff the most. Songs like "Sunday smile", "Nantes" or "The penalty" sound awesome when played with a few different instruments or even with the Ukulele alone (or several Ukes).
