Any guitarists amongst you will be very aware of the amazing retro guitars that are made by Canadian company Eastwood. If not look here http://www.eastwoodguitars.com and drool a little.
Anyhow, they have built a Prototype solid body electric Ukulele and are after feedback about it and also opinions on what a Uke player would like from a Uke. I have one of their guitars and have owned a couple of others and they are very fine instruments indeed so I am quite excited about this. They send out questionaires occasionally asking for opinions and I always say "Build a Ukulele" so I also feel partly responsible for this (I can kid myself!).
There is a video on Youtube so have a look and email them your responses. Mike Robinson who owns the company is a very nice bloke and Eastwood generally are a very customer focussed business so it is very likely that any input you have will be taken seriously.

Cheers,
Ian.

That looks and sounds really cool. I love the idea of solid body electric-acoustic ukes, and I'm glad to see more companies considering them.

It sounds awesome and if I was a little more accomplished I would go check it out. It looks like they are about an hour drive from my house.

Sounds great!! I love my Ko'olau acoustic electrics....no feedback on stage!!!! I wish more companies would consider this market.
