Hi all! I am a beginner, and have never owned or played a ukulele. I am looking at buying my first, but as I am a student it needs to be cheap. I am looking for help on which would be best for a beginner.

Mahalo Concert U-320C
Kala MK-C Concert Ukulele

Kala KA-S Mahogany Soprano Ukulele w/ Rosewood Fingerboard
Kala Makala MK-S Soprano Ukulele w/ Rosewood Fingerboard

I will be needing to watch online videos to learn, and they are all around the 50 dollar range. I am looking for a good sound, but I want it to be durable, and easy to use for a beginner. In case anyone wants to see the links, I'll put them below. Thanks so much!

In your concert category, get the Makala over the Mahalo. In the soprano category, both should serve you well. However, I'd continue to shop around different venders and see if maybe you can find one that offers a case, tuner and setup along with Aquila strings and a chord book.

I agree with holdincoffee. Check out MGM (musicguymic) on eBay he is extreamly helpfull and won't steer you wrong. You can't go wrong with a Kala, we have three Makala's in our family and just love them

I'm the same and I am getting a Kala KA C Concert Mahogany with gig bag and tuner from MGM its a good one and a good deal

Thanks for your help! I ended up getting a Kala KA-S Mahogany Soprano from MGM, it comes with a case, chord book, and pitchpipe. So excited!
