advice for a new ukulele

Ive been learning to play on a generic plastic uke.
So i want to get a good one and im thinking about getting a
Lanikai LU-21CE Concert Acoustic/Electric Ukulele
Is lanikai a good brand?
Think this is a good ukulele?

Hey Peter -- welcome to the forum!

We have a review of a similar model in our review section (see link below). The only difference is the one reviewed does not have the electronics. I do not have one of these, but understand that they have a pretty good following and are a very good value among the lower cost ukes.

i have a lanikai lu-21te that i like just fine. i think the model you're looking at will be a fine upgrade from your current setup.
