my friend recently went to hawaii. we made a deal. he'd buy me lei hei moi sour strawberry belts and i'd buy him some nice ukulele strings for his new baritone. so i wanna really make sure he gets good ones. any suggestiongs. i see that D'Addario's are more expensive. but as alot of ukers know. price isnt everything. well... sometimes haha. thanks!

I've got D'Addario's on my Hilo bari and am not thrilled, but I think it's the Hilo not the strings! I've got a set of Aquila's I going to try on it which seem to help laminate ukes sound better. I understand the D'Addario Pro Artes are great especially on solid wood uke's.

Yeah, they're good. Really good would be a set of Daddario T2 Titanium Classical Guitar Strings and the regular Dadarrio Baritone Strings for the wound bass. I use the T2s on the two bottom strings and the regular Daddario for the top two. I'm still looking for a better alternative for the bass strings though.
