Hi friends:

I'm about to receive a Bushman Jenny from a trade, a soprano mahogany (and I'm excited about it.)

When I next add another uke to the fleet, it will be a Mainland soprano.

I'd like something that's gonna sound different from the Jenny.

Here's what I see on Mainland that I like.

The Mahogany Pineapple.

The Mahogany Boat Paddle.

The Mahogany Soprano.

The Cedar Top Soprano.

The Cedar Top Pineapple.

So what do you think would be the best contrast(s) to the Jenny?

:agree: The mahoganies will probably sound very similar to your Jenny. Get a different wood/combination of woods. Are they going to be getting soprano mangoes?

A pineapple will not only give you a different sound, but also a different feel. I would opt for the cedar pineapple.
