If you truely learn from your mistakes then I should be a pretty smart fella' by now. Unfortunately I don't really think that's the case. However, I have learned a few things while trying to cobble together a couple of ukuleles and here they are in no particular order:

1. Sometimes being a packrat is a good thing.

2. No matter how hard you think it is, it isn't as easy as it looks.

3. Sometimes close enough really is.

4. There may be more than one way to skin a cat but they all have one thing in common, the cat doesn't like any of them.

5. Chasing perfection is a lot like a dog chasing his tail.

6. Whenever you think you have made just about every mistake it is humanly possible to make you just made a big one.

7. Sometimes you have to stick your hand in the fire before you really know that it's hot.

8. Nobody cares about your hobby but you.

9. The optivisor is the worlds greatest invention.

10. If you are prepared for the zombie apocalypse you are prepared for anything.
