Hi everyone...

I just bought my ukelele and i got a little problem tuning it.

The order of the strings is the next (from bottom to top, as usual):
1º- thick
2º- medium
3º- thin
4º- thick (again)

Is this right? Is this how the string should be? How should I tune it? Which kind of ukelele do I have?

I don't have a camera now, but when I do, I'll take a picture of the ukelele if that helps...

Thanks for your help!

This is how my soprano uke is stringed:

The thickest is the C string (#3).

That looks odd to me. Most 'ukulele are tuned "re-entrant," meaning that there are two thin strings on the outside:

I would just buy new ukulele strings and use those. You can buy some D'Addarios (my favorites) from the UU store or you can get different ones somewhere else. Most people prefer Aquila and Worth strings.

That's what I figure it out, but it seems odd that they sell it like this. I'll see if I can change these strings. If not, I'll buy a new pack.

Thanks everyone!
