If you are going to try building a CBU with a CAO box like this, you might want to keep this in mind:
I built this uke thinking this was a solid wood box. It looked like solid wood, had a nice wood grain, but once I cut into it, I found that the outside of the material is real wood veneer and sandwiched in between the wood is a sort of compressed fiber material? I'm guessing this is made this way to keep the humidity up for the cigars?
Anyway, it still resonates and actually doesn't sound too bad at all.
