It's original. Pretty good considering I've only been playing for a month or two. My first stringed instrument too! This is me tooting my own horn. lol It's silly. Typical 'down, down, up, up down' type strum. cuter if it's a little faster.

A, B7, D7, A

A-------B7
Fingers flying
D-----A
furiously.
A----------------B7
Spelling out my heart so
D--------A
effortlessly.
A-------------B7
Smiling and blushing
D----------A
contagiously
A---------------B7
The peaks and perks of
D----------A
text messaging.

Pieced together congruently
And flowing like fluid inside our bodies.
Pass the flame from you to me
And back again to set us free

Dm
From the shackles of
A
misery
Dm
The gods had set forth so
A
selfishly
Dm
Upon you and
A
upon me.
B7
Until they invented
D7
text messaging.
[back to the A, B7, D, A]
I hide behind my Blackberry,
Pretending to do businessy things
You stole my heart so easily
These are the perks of text messaging.

[back to Dm, A x3 B7, D7 bridgey thing]
Everyone's so green with jealousy
Know no technology
Can do to them what it does to me
But not everybody
Is lucky
Enough to be you and me

Silly and kinda hard to express in non-video form, but super fun to play! Hope ya'll like it. =]=]

I don't know why this never got any comments, it's super cute and I love the chord progression.
