Leolani Tiny "Hawaii" Ukulele

I found this baby at a thrift store and changed out the stock strings for a set of Martin Fluorocarbons and tightened up the tuners! It stays in tune fairly well and sounds decent enough. I also changed the stock nut and saddle for a bone set from Mainland.

The uke is in decent condition, but it has some obvious scratching around the sound hole as if someone used a plastic pick on it

and has a small black sludge on its bottom.

I'm not exactly sure how much I want to ask for this... if a price is absolute required, I'll think of one by tomorrow! Until then, offer away and trades are gladly accepted!

Eh, I guess I'll set my price at $55 since it's got a brand new pair of strings and a bone nut and saddle. Thanks for the tip.

Reminds me of the old film shorts, "Little Rascals" where Darla said, she'd make "hundreds of thousands of dollars" at their club in one of the skits. I hadn't thought of that in years.

I can get them here for about $12.00 in a shop 5 minutes away, but then again everyone here has them.

I've seen these in Waikiki, and sadly they're pretty much tourist trap ukuleles. I think the same one sells at walmart for about $18, but I'm not quite sure.

thanks to this "trap uke" i got started on the uke! and trap me it did...bought it just for kicks in waikiki and brought it home and got obsessed...the rest is historyyyy

edit: mine was definitely 9.99 btw
