Hi all,

Just wondered if anyone was going to the uke festival in chetenham this summer

http://www.ukulelefestival.co.uk/

I've done some snooping and the line up is rumoured to be Ukulelezaza, Steven Sproat, Gugug, Winin Boys & The Uke Box

I think some members of our ukulele club are going for the trip down

maybe see some of you there?

Hi again, I've just found out the dates of the london uke festival - 29-30th May 2010 - did anyone here go to it last year? I'm keen to hear what it was like - they have some photos of last years event on the website if anyone is interested

thanks

I just saw the ad yesterday and I'm thinking about going but I've only started playing. I was looking to see how difficult it would be to get from Birmingham airport to there.

it really depends on price and value for money. ill be in the uk then and may be tempted its a great idea and with good marketing should do well but it seems from the site to be a bit speculative, for example they are still looking for sponsors, they should be in the bag already, and the details are vague

Great idea. I just sent the link to a friend, and if the details look good then we are in.

If it's sensibly priced, I'll be there for sure.

Maybe I'll go if they've got wheelchair access.
