Wow. Everyone gets unlucky once in a while. Today it was my turn.
I ordered a uke last week from Bounty. Nice G-string C-1. Really good price with free UPS shipping.
Well, it took a week to get here, and it did not fare well. My guess is it froze in the transport from California to Georgia in this record cold. Finish cracks all over it.
I called Bounty and e-mailed them these pictures. They are going to get back to me. Said they would make it good.
Here the ugly pics.
Lesson learned: It can be too cold to ship a uke.
Any thoughts on how to avoid this? or how you would fix it? (Don't think I'll need to fix this.)
Anyone else get finish or other damage in this cold spell?
