Hi, just got my first ukulele yesterday - a ohana concert.

i got it from the southern ukulele company in the uk, who i highly recommend - came very well packaged.

it has a solid spruce top, and figured mahogany laminate back and sides. it's much louder than i imagined it would be.

here are some pics.

i've been playing the guitar for 20 years so i have the basic technique, it's just that high g that i have to get my head around!

will prob get a few videos up too once i get a few tunes under my belt.

Great choice for a first uke! Have fun with it.

 Sexsay!

I have an Ohana Vita Uke. The Ohana's seem to be really nice to play.

That looks really nice and I think I am going to add to my list of wants. Do you mind me asking how much you paid? Are you sure that isnt a cedar top? Looks a bit dark for a spruce.

just did a quick search - looks like you nabbed the last one!

Awesome...congrats!!!!

ah congrats man, have some good ukin times. i bought an ohana tk300g tenor a year back now, and so i know you'll have a good time with this uke.

Congrats. I have two Ohana's and love them.

Looks good Jonny! Where abouts in the UK are you?

Sweet. What do you think of it so far?
