Friction Tuner question.

Hello,
I have an old martin concert uke that is having trouble holding it's tuning. The strings are pretty old but I noticed that if I tighten the screw on the top of the friction tuning peg it holds...anyone ever have trouble with these screw becoming loose over time? Eventually it will fall out of tune and I need to retighten again.

yup, what you're experiencing happens with friction tuners, it's not uncommon.

yeah, I had trouble when I got my Ohana, turned out the tuners weren't tightnened up was all.
