Recorder debut: You've Got To Hide Your Love Away

I just learned that the German word "Flöte" can not be easily translated to the English "flute"...

The instrument here is not a flute but a recorder...

flute = Querflöte
recorder = Blockflöte

And in German the word Flöte alone is a generic term for Querflöte and Blockflöte (and probably more kinds of Flöten?), so in German it is fine to call this instrument also a Flöte, but in English I can't call it a flute.

Amazing what you can learn in ukulele forums... ;-)

isn't it? I just corrected your title^^

well, there's also the "whistle", which includes certain folk flutes (btw, flute also fits for "traditional" types of recorders.)

wundervolles Video, großartiges Arrangement und eine äußerst Wohlklingende Flöte. Ich muss sagen, dieses ist ein herrausragendes Video!

Lovely, as usual WS64! At this rate you'll have the entire Beatles catalogue recorded in no time.
