Hi,

I received my new Kala Koa tenor ukulele with a solid spruce top from Music Guy Michael (MGM) yesterday. Great uke!

Today, we needed to test our Red camera, so I thought I would film my new ukulele to show those interested how beautiful this Kala model really is. As you can see the craftsmanship that went into this instrument is excellent.

But I have a problem, my playing skills are not as good as my photography, so I am in search of some music played on this model to go along with the video. If you own or play one of these great sounding ukes and can provide some appropriate music please let me know - must be played on the same model. I think a nice Basso Nova would work well but I am open to anything.

Just a cool way to kill some time and to add to library of Uke knowledge.

Regards,
Kris

I corrected the video to show that the uke is laminated koa and not solid. The video is also now available in HD (720P): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QHcnt3kMWpY

OK, next time someone posts to ask what kind of equipment to use for making YouTube videos, I'll be sure to recommend a Red camera... heh heh...

Yeah, slight overkill. But man, sure looks pretty in 4K.

One day we will reshoot it with proper lighting and black felt....
