Hey guys,

It's a lot easier than you'd think to help relief efforts in Haiti after the devastating earthquake. If you aren't familiar:
http://www.cnn.com/2010/WORLD/americas/01/12/haiti.earthquake/index.html

Everyone can give $10, especially when it's just billed to your phone bill. Text HAITI to 90999 to donate $10 to relief efforts.

Does anyone else have ideas? There's the obvious: donate to the charitable organizations. But anything else we can think of?

By the way, the $10 is legit. From Red Cross:

"Text "Haiti" to 90999 to donate. 100% of your $10 donation passes thru to @RedCross for Haiti relief. Your cell carrier keeps nothing."

Some more from their twitter:

Lowe's donating $1 million to @RedCross #Haiti earthquake relief. All @Lowes stores serving as @RedCross donation sites

Over $800k raised through text to help Haiti now. Thank you all for your generosity! #90999

etc. See more at twitter.com/redcross
