The Collings koa and mahogany at Elderly are my favorites there. I'd love to see one of these there, too!
Thanks for sharing!

Sweet! I've been wondering how long until a carved archtop. That mahogany is really pretty. Any idea how deeply into debt I will have to go to get one?

Very cool! I'd hate to even ask about how much one costs. Collings archtop guitars runs into the 5 figures, so I'm guessing this uke is well north of $5k.

Wow! I usually don't like when wood isn't its natural color, but that uke is beautiful! Not my type of uke but I'd still love to try one out and hear how it really sounds.

That's just beyond cool. . . seems like a logical move for him given that he makes mandolins and archtop guitars. I wonder who's going to get it.

Wow, what a beautiful ukulele!!! I can't wait to see how much it costs...or more importantly, if it will make it to production.

Here's what $5k list, $4500 street gets you in a Collings Mandolin.

My guess is it'll be somewhere between 4 and 5k street, likely less labor intensive and more boutique in terms of market. I'm hoping that Steve gets one so that I can try it. . . 'cause that is one frikkin' impressive looking uke.

Wow! Those are pretty cool. Thanks for posting.

Does anyone know how well the Collings ukes are doing in the marketplace?
